Four Columns Inn & 1832 Tavern

The Four Columns Inn is quintessential Vermont hospitality - charming, nostalgic, warm, & ever inviting. And when the new owners and stewards of this historic property asked us to help them, we jumped at the chance. Who wouldn't spend time working in such a beautiful location alongside such wonderful folks?


Right off the bat there were significant challenges to over come. No functioning website. No booking or management software. No actual logo or brand mark. No recent photos. In short, we really had our work cut out for us!


After working with the property owners to vet possible 3rd-party booking & scheduling software services, we finally arrived at utilizing Think Reservations - mostly because of their excellent customer service. Once the "booking engine" and front desk management software were set up & running we pivoted to designing and all new website. "Minimal" was the keyword for the new design, opting to let photos of the newly renovated inn and restaurant space speak for themselves. Once the 1832 Tavern was up and running we integrated with the Toast system to get a smaller website & on-line menu for the tavern up and running as well. Some simple yet effective printed pieces helped with the re-launch of the property.
